Description : Scorcio portuale

Oil on canvas, mounted on a frame from the early 1900s. In the rosy atmosphere of a sunset sky, the scene presents a city port landing place, with a building adorned with a monumental fountain on the right, from which a group of commoners draw water in barrels, and the guardhouse on the left, at the end of the pier, at which a vessel is landing; some fishermen on the left adjust the sails of the boat. Marked crazing, but colors intact.
