Description : Diana cacciatrice
Oil on the table. The goddess Diana is depicted as a young and beautiful girl, rather modest, in a moment of rest and leisure, while playing with her hunting dog, a greyhound, with the quiver on her shoulders and the crescent on her forehead: goddess of the Hunt, Diana was also considered the personification of the moon, which is therefore its symbol. The painting proposes a less warlike but rather sensual and graceful version, even in the delicate chromatic tones. The painting is presented in a lacquered style frame.
