Description : La lezione di musica

Oil painting on canvas. The small scene depicts a music lesson of a young girl sitting at the spinet, following the instructions that the maestro gives her on the stave; on the right side a mandolin is placed, for the accompaniment of the melody; on the left side, in the shadows, a female figure is sitting, probably to watch over the good honor of the girl. The painting has some small drops of color. It is proposed in a coeval frame.
