Description

Stone sculpture, with hemp insert. The name and date are engraved under the base. The Sardinian artist Giovanni Canu is above all a sculptor, he uses ceramics but also other materials such as iron, stone, black basalt, red trachyte, granite, marble chips, to create works that explore the subtle links between avant-garde language and archetypes, between universal forms and Neolithic figurations, inspired by his land of origin.
