Description

Marble sculpture. Signed on the lower right side. Mario Molteni, a Milanese artist, created his works almost exclusively with marble taken from the Candoglia quarries, near Verbania. His works often feature subjects drawn from classical culture, such as this owl, presented alongside abstract compositions, such as the shape with holes behind the bird.
