Terracotta sculpture. Signed on the base. Sergio Zanni, an artist born and living in Ferrara, wants to represent in his works the battle for existence through ironic but at the same time poetic figures, astonished characters of a silent humanity that passively awaits what life has in store for it. In this work, Zanni presents a mountain, steep and bare, on top of which an owl watches; at his side a human face emerges from the summit, barely distinguishable, incorporated into the mass that surrounds him (shelter or prison?).
