Ico Olivetti typewriter with case. Born from an idea by Adriano Olivetti and Gino Levi Martinoli, head of the Projects and Studies Office founded in 1929, the Olivetti MP1 was physically designed in 1932 by Riccardo Levi, with designs by Aldo and Adriano Magnelli. Olivetti's first portable typewriter, also known as the ICO model. It was produced between 1932 and 1950 when it was replaced by the Olivetti Lettera 22.
