Oil on the table. Signed lower left. On the back there is a participation scroll in the anthological exhibition of the author held in November 1994 at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Pavia. Specializing in landscape painting, the painter Romeo Borgognoni mainly depicted glimpses of the Pavia countryside, in a style which, albeit with realist rigor, draws on impressionism for its bright and vibrant brushstrokes. Here is a view along the Ticino, behind which the city looms. In frame.
