Oil on canvas cardboard. Signed lower center. The title on the back. In his pictorial production, the painter from Lucca Antonio Possenti resembles the painting of Marc Chagall, whom he met in 1957 on the French Riviera: his works are true "fabulous tales" generated by his dreamlike vision of reality, a vision that Possenti develops through careful observation of the “human comedy”. In this work he proposes a self-portrait, placed in a fantastic garden, animated by curious and abnormal animals, depicted with very lively color choices. The work is presented in a frame.
