Description : Figure nel bosco

Oil on the table. Attributable to the Romantic period, the painting offers a glimpse of a forest, full of plays of light among the branches, and crossed below by a path on which two female figures pass, while a third figure, that of a painter, sits at the edge intent on painting. On the reverse there is an inscription with a dedication by the author "Benevello made for Carlotta Marchionni". The work is presented in a gilded frame from the early 1900s.
