Description : Scorcio settecentesco di Venezia

Oil on wooden board. Signed lower right. The painting offers a glimpse of a Venetian street, with some figures in eighteenth-century clothes at the boat embarkation station. It is part of the typical production of the Chioggia painter Eugenio Bonivento, a pupil of Eugenio Pardi but who looked a lot at the Venetian landscape painting of the 18th century, in particular for the luministic research. The work is presented in a period frame.
