Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right. Athos Faccincani's pictorial production was initially focused on social themes, in particular with attention to the world of prisoners and the marginalized. Since the 1980s, after a long period of reflection, the artist moves from the representation of human figures to that of the landscape, of the nature that Faccincani loves in its sacred totality, becoming his only model. Following a radical change in his existential and stylistic attitude, he moved on to the production of images of clear impressionist derivation, with pure and bright colours, aimed at valorising the light, the sun and the simple story, with a painting that bears witness to joy and serenity. The work is presented in a frame.
