Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower left. Achille Cattaneo, Milanese by origin and education, dedicated his production mainly to perspective views and glimpses of the interiors of churches in Milan and the Milanese Navigli and, to a lesser extent, of Venice, interpreting the tradition of "painting" in an impressionist key. urban" nineteenth-century Lombardy.
