Description

Bronze sculpture depicting Saint Peter placed on a finely engraved marble throne. Base in polychrome marble. This bronze sculpture depicting St. Peter sitting on the throne has similar features to the bronze saint of St. Peter's Basilica, created by the hand of Arnolfo di Cambio around 1300. St. Peter is sitting on a throne, with his right hand in the act of blessing the faithful and with his left hand he holds the keys given to him by Jesus.
