Watercolor on paper. Signed lower right. Arturo Tosi had a first pictorial phase which, due to the post-impressionist influence, was directed towards a landscape production characterized by a clear and luminous palette, with blurred contours. Only later, due to a return to nineteenth-century painting, his brushstroke became more mellow, and the contours took on greater shape. This watercolor landscape seems to be part of the first production, due to the brightness and the choice of delicate and light colours, which fade as they move from the different elements depicted. The work is presented in a period frame.
