Group of sixteen works, with photos and mixed techniques. Edition no. V of XX. This is a very rare multiple edition which was signed by sixteen artists to spread the famous exhibition Collective exhibition organized by Roberto Peccolo and Studio Marconi in 1977, at the Lastaria Art Gallery in Rome, with the aim of promoting works in which they were used at the same time, sometimes parallel to others in a single work, two different mediums of artistic expression: painting and photography. The exhibition highlighted the value of photography, with all the technical possibilities related to it (enlargements, particularizations, re-illustrations,..) as a new potential field of artistic investigation. The following participated in this work: Vincenzo Aglietti, Denis Alkan, Roberta Allen, Monika Baumgartl, Ania Bien, Han Bierman, Mari Boeyen, Blythe Bohnen, Vincenzo Cecchini, Bruno Di Bello, Giulio Paolini, Lucio Pozzi, Richard Thatcher, Olivier Thomé, Jose Urbach, Gianfranco Zappettini. There are 15 works in the series in the 39 x 29 cm format, one in the 58 x 29 cm format (because it is made up of two side-by-side elements). They are mounted in a glass frame; on the back of the mounting panel they all have the artist's name, serial number and inventory number. The group is accompanied by the text created by Studio Marconi, with a presentation by Roberto Peccolo, with biographical and critical notes of the artists and the black and white reproduction of their works presented at the exhibition.
