Description : Ritratto della Marchesa D'Aligre

Oil painting on canvas. French school of 1820-30. On the reverse there is an ancient writing in French in ink on the frame, which identifies "Etiennette Marie Catherine Charlotte d'Aligre (1791 -1866), mariée (married) le 21 juin 1810 à Michel Marie Marquis de Pomereu". Therefore belonging to one of the illustrious French noble houses, the young woman portrayed appears in an elegant evening dress, in red velvet adorned with a refined lace collar. The painting is presented in a contemporary frame, adorned with wooden floral decorations, with small defects.
