Description : Sant'antonio da Padova con Gesù Bambino

Oil on wooden board. Saint Anthony of Padua is easily identifiable by his Franciscan habit and by the iconographic attributes of the lily and the book; the Saint is depicted contemplating the Child Jesus, who appears to him sitting on a cloud and surrounded by light: according to tradition, in fact, the young Saint spent time with the Child Jesus who appeared to him during his prayers. The painting shows traces of restoration.
