Description : Ritratto maschile

Oil painting on canvas. On the back of the frame, at the top, there is an ink engraving from a period subsequent to that of the work, which reads "...doge of Venice.... of the Duke of Savoy". However, it is not possible to trace the identity of the man portrayed, certainly a noble knight due to the armor adorned with a precious lace jabot. The work, restored and relined, is presented in an antique frame, regilded and with small defects.
