Description

Baroque drop-shaped console in carved and gilded wood, Piedmont, mid-18th century. Shaped top in gray marble, supported by a pair of uprights and crosses composed of opposing architectural C. Embellished with rocaille carvings, curls, leafy and floral elements and a triage motif on the band. Regilded, floor restored. Deficiencies in the gilding.
