Description : Paesaggio con scorcio marino

Oil painting on canvas. French school late 18th - early 19th century. The wide view frames a hilly landscape rich in vegetation and meadows, near the sea coast, animated by various boats; inserted on the left there is a small village, towards which two travelers are heading on the path. In the background there are some white and steep rocky stretches, which recall the coasts of Northern France. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a gilded frame from the early 1900s.
