Description

Baroque style tripod vase column, made of carved and gilded wood and resin, 20th century Italy. On a stylistic level, the column presents decorative motifs typical of the Baroque taste, such as winged cherubs, masks, cartouches and leaf elements. The putti, gracefully seated as if on a ledge, hold a festoon in their hands. Deficiencies in the carving and gilding.
