Oil painting on canvas. Signed and dated lower right. Cesare Monti, born in Brescia but trained artistically in Milan, followed the development of artistic currents with his painting, moving from divisionism to impressionism up to a more informal painting. Here proposed is a vase full of colorful gladioli, which grow in height, filling a dark and undefined background with their bright colors. The work is presented in a contemporary frame.
