Description : Natura morta con frutta, astice e lepre

Oil painting on canvas. Central European school of the early 1900s. signature no deciphered (J. Auer?) and dated lower left. Large composition with an antique feel, set in a stately home, due to the richness of the furnishing elements it portrays. The lobster in the center and the hare on the right stand out, placed on a table richly laden with varied fruit and utensils. Among these are the embossed metal teapot with the painted ceramic tea cup, and the fruit bowl stand decorated with faunal elements, near which there is a sparrow looking for food. In the background on the right a painting with a female figure. The painting, restored and relined, is presented in a period frame.
