Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right W. Fischer. This is a copy of the painting by an anonymous artist preserved in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. The painting pays homage to the great Austrian composer (1732 -1809). considered the "father of string quartets", because with him they lost the function of occasional music and light entertainment (entertainment for four string instruments), to instead take on the role of classical form by definition. The painting is presented in a period frame.
