Oil painting on canvas. In a very dark landscape, with a pale solar disk veiled by dark clouds, a prelude to a storm, a rustic farmhouse stands on the right, the stable towards which the shepherd is heading with his flock, located on the left near the stream. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a coeval frame.
