Modular bookcase, on the front it has four drawers surmounted by four compartments with glass doors that can be opened and hidden; one of the modules has compartments and drawers for documents and a pull-out shelf. Present brand of the factory "The Globe-Wernicke", an American company active since the 19th century that patented the "elastic bookcases", known precisely as modular bookcases or lawyer's bookcases. As in our case, these were high-quality stackable shelves, with a standard width, able to be adapted to be joined together to form a bookcase that could be rearranged by inserting units of different depths and heights.
