Description : Paesaggio di campagna con figure

Oil on canvas. Signed R. Grieben and dated lower left. On the back of the frame there is a cartouche with the attribution "Rosa Grieben fecit" and date. The glimpse of the countryside frames a quiet corner with a small bridge that crosses a small stream; a female figure passes on the bridge, looking at the boatman who lands below on the river; the large and leafy crown of an oak tree towers over the entire upper half. The work is presented in a contemporary frame that has been modified and regilded.
