Description : Ritratto di santo

Oil on canvas. The saintly portrait, a mature man with a thick beard that is already graying, holds an open book in his hands, while a flowering stick appears from his chest; his gaze, sad though it is, is turned upwards. It is presumably Saint Joseph, due to his age and the flowering stick, his traditional iconographic symbol. The painting, relined, has stains and signs of previous restoration.
