Description : Ritratto di famiglia

Oil on canvas. Northern European school of the 18th century. The painting is an original derivation of the portrait production of the 17th century, in particular of some family portraits by Anthony Van Dyck. The three characters, father, mother and little son, are depicted half-length, with the wide ruff collars typical of the aristocracy of the 16th-17th century. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a golden frame from the early 1900s.
