Oil on panel. Signature, date and title lower left. Augustin Salinsas y Teruel, a Spanish painter by origin but transplanted to Italy, traveled extensively in Europe and Brazil, bringing back many subjects, both landscapes and genre scenes, for his large pictorial production, marked by realism. A small Dutch view is presented here, which clearly highlights the flat landscape crossed by large navigable canals. Framed.
