Painted under glass. Signed and dated top right. On the back label of "Galleria Pietra, Arte contemporanea internazionale" of Milan, with the title of the work. José Ciuha is considered one of the most important contemporary Slovenian artists. His artistic production has used very different techniques, from watercolour to mosaic, to tapestry, and in particular he has used - as in this work - the technique of fixing under glass. It has been said that Ciuha's works pass "from the phantasmatic to the metamorphic, in a reverie of lucid figurative allegories", in a continuous osmosis between abstract and figurative. The work is presented in a frame.
