Description

Ebonized walnut table, truncated pyramidal legs with carved leaf capitals, joined to a curved cross-shaped base with a central plume. The tabletop features a beautiful scagliola panel depicting a central mask, a pair of birds, doves, and snakes, and a floral and leafy intertwining that fills the top, all enclosed by a double frame. Tuscany, late 17th century.
