Description : Ritratto di San Francesco

Oil on panel. The iconography identifies the saint depicted as Francis, for the habit, the tonsure, the stigmata, the book he holds in his hand. The painting harks back to a medieval style: the figure is depicted standing, inside an apse painted behind him. The work presents various losses of paint and damage to the panel. It is presented in a glass case frame, covered on the sides with trimmings.
