Oil on plywood. Signed and dated lower right. Title on the back. Rino Villa is known as one of the initiators (along with Seibezzi, Da Venezia, Ravenna, Bergamini, Mori, Dalla Zorza, etc.) of the Impressionist revival of Venetian painting. He established himself primarily as a landscape painter, especially depicting views of Venice, dominated by the gray of its lagoon skies. The work is presented in a frame.
