Description
Pair of late Baroque-style bedside tables made in the early 1900s. Completely rounded and supported by curved legs with carved goat-hoof feet, they feature a door on the front and a small drawer underneath. They are veneered with burl wood inserts held in place by violetwood borders. On the front, a frame inlaid with floral boxwood motifs encloses a rosewood insert arranged in a radial pattern. The interior compartment is lined with ceramic, and the handles are bronze. High-quality cabinetry can enhance a room and add importance.
