Description : Cacciagione con cane e gatto

Oil on canvas. In a Nordic landscape, a pile of hunted animals lies on the right; on the left, a dog and a cat fight over slices of salami! The composition is very similar to the one at auction attributed to Felice Boselli (1650-1732), with the dog and cat in the same position. This suggests a pupil or follower of Boselli, who was primarily known for his game still lifes. The work is on its first canvas. It is presented in a 19th-century frame.
