Description

Pair of earthenware cake stands on a square base consisting of three round plates of decreasing diameter. A small, neoclassical-style crater-shaped vase sits atop. Distinctive relief decoration reminiscent of small bosses. This type of decoration was known on some pieces from the Giustiniani factory in Naples. Mark missing.
