Description
Hagar in the wilderness, oil on canvas. Expelled from the House of Abraham by Hagar in the wilderness, jealousy of his wife Sara, Hagar and Ishmael found themselves in the wilderness of beer-Sheba without water. The biblical scene is the moment an Angel of God was sent to the rescue for Agar after hearing the cries of her baby. To Verso pencil attribution to Simon Vouet (1590-1649). Presented in a golden frame style, without glass.
