Description
Oil on canvas. The work, in the opinion of Massimo Pulini friendly verbal, is attributed to Giuseppe Diamantini Fossombrone, student at Venice of Romagna Cagnacci. The foreshortened face of the Saint has exasperated character proportions and in parts, that are recurring theme in the works of the Venetian. The painting is done in large brush strokes that shape an embodied greve and unfinished. the work is presented restored and reintelata, without frame.
