Description

Large format, is painted with vegetable colors on canvas of strong thickness. The subject, classical flavour, is framed by a spiral fogliacee game: a pair of young girls kidnapped stops listening to the young musician, within an Italian landscape. Typical production of the late ' 800-early ' 900, designed for large walls of Italian bourgeois mansions, in the spirit of revival of ancient art, which is idealized as a "golden age" of the Italian peninsula.
