Description
Glass vase "wrought" from private collection. "Beaten" glasses are thick glass whose surface of distinguished by particular finishing at the wheel. The "beatings" were invented by Carlo Scarpa in the early 1940s to give glass an aspect similar to hammered silver or to obtain the typical effect of stone processing. Good condition, shows little signs of wear.
