Description

Painting on wood. Originally octagonal format, to small table were added at a later date the four corners. The painting depicts the instruments of the passion brought by angels: the column of the flagellation, the symbol of the cross, the lance with which he pierced Jesus, hammer, nails and pliers and, at the Center, the shroud with the face of Christ. The small size indicates use for private prayer and meditation. To the rear a wax stamp testifies its origin from private collection.
