Oil on canvas, Mystic marriage of St Catherine, restored and reintelato, presented in the antique picture frame ' 600. The composition takes obvious cues from the production of Emilia, see for example the figure dell'angelo Madonna di San Girolamo di Correggio. The same author refers to sweet and soft atmosphere, and the lovely diagonal composition of characters, enough to make us think about the production of a 17th-century author enthralled by the works of Correggio, disseminated through incisions across Europe during the early seventeenth century; However the setting and scenery blended with classic building, shifts production to the 18th century. This doesn't detract from the charm of the work, tactful and persuasive.
