Oil on board. The work, a powerful ascetic and tormented in the interpretation of Christ's face is accompanied by an old expertise of 1952, which attributes the authorship to Luis de Morales (1509-1589), the Spanish painter said El Divino which was the author of several works similar to the subject and quality of interpretation. Moreover pictorial features of the work, while confirming its origin from the Spanish area, place it in the period following the date of the Divino.In frame.
