Oil on canvas. Affects the representation of the woman suffering from thyroid goiter, a disease very prevalent in the '600's due to a lack of iodine. The more times the same Caravaggio represents characters with this feature, from the "Judith and Holofernes" of Toulouse, the "Crucifixion of St. Andrew" of Cleveland, and others. Restored and ritelato, is presented in contemporary frame, with some damage.
