Description
One of three more of scenography consists of three silver taken from the famous mori mori Dell'Orologio in Piazza San Marco in Venice a couple of console and three reggivaso made in fiberglass and plaster and wood completely silver. From the data that can be read on the back of the consoles, we can go back to the context referenced by these extraordinary pieces: this is a production of the opera "Armide" by Christoph Willibald Gluck, represented the first time in Paris in 1777, and a few years ago presented in beautiful execution of the Maestro Muti with the scenery and directed by Pier Luigi Pizzi. The proposed cuts are part of the scenography of Act IV and well recall the atmosphere of magic that permeates the entire libretto of the opera, adapted from an episode of the Gerusalemme Liberata.
