Description

Gilded antimony clock on wooden base. The clock features leaf scroll decorations, vegetal motifs and is surmounted by the figure of an explorer with a panoply composed of a telescope, square, protractor and compass. Enamelled metal display with Roman numeral hours. Mechanism marked Hottot à Paris, Japy Freres Medaille d'Honneur 1855.
