Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right. Mino Maccari's artistic production is mainly aimed at social and political satire, expressed above all through drawing; moreover, he never positioned himself as a judge of Italian customs, but rather as an amusing and amused chronicler of the vices and weaknesses of society. In his pictorial production, although he does not deviate excessively from the themes of his drawings, he accentuates the fantastic aspect more: with rapid and decisive brushstrokes and bright, often violent colours, he characterizes almost unreal or rather caricatural figures. The work is presented in a frame.

Contemporary Painting O. Tamburi Paris '900 Oil on Canvas

Paris

Oil on canvas. Signed lower right. Orfeo Tamburi was a multifaceted and prolific Italian artist. A draughtsman, painter and journalist, he even tried his hand at acting (Roberto Rossellini's The Envy). In his pictorial career, Tamburi investigated the expressive possibilities of matter and attempted to overcome the figurative-non-figurative antithesis. The figurative, present in his early production, is gradually abandoned in favour of a geometrialisation of reality, a flattening of forms that does not, however, preclude considerable expressive power. Recurring in his production are city views, often Parisian but not only, characterised precisely by the precise lines of the shapes of the houses but also of the windows (Tamburi has also been defined as a 'painter of windows'), which contribute to emphasising precisely the geometric vision of reality. The work is presented in a frame.

The Alzer rigid suitcase is one of Louis Vuitton's most iconic models; continues to fascinate because it is spacious and resistant, still in production today. The interior is lined in canvas, where the removable internal divider is located. The finishes are in leather, reinforced with studs and with golden brass corners, the latter also used for the locks. The two additional closures are characteristic, inspired by the Maison's trunks. Inside it has the authentic label bearing the unique product number (983339). It is produced with the famous Monogram canvas, a fabric characterized by stylized flowers and "LV" monograms, invented in 1896 by Georges Vuitton, son of Louis. It can be dated to the 1970s and is preserved with all the original parts; Item in very good condition with very slight signs of aging.

Lemon Collector

Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right. On the back there is a declaration of authenticity signed by the artist and the stamp of the Giuseppe Migneco General Catalog with the cataloging number of the work in the archive. Giuseppe Migneco, originally from Messina but who moved to Milan at a young age, was one of the major representatives, together with Aligi Sassu, Renato Birolli, Bruno Cassinari, Renato Guttuso, of the Corrente group open to the European artistic avant-garde. In favor of a painting of social commitment, he investigates reality with a critical, objective, historical eye. His characters with hard, square faces, marked by hard work and rendered in bright and strong tones, recall his Sicily with violent and clear features, but also the social realism of the Mexican muralists. The work is presented in a frame.

Face

Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower left. Bruno Cassinari's artistic production is characterized by formal deformations of expressionist ancestry with reflections on cubist structuring. The artist said of his art, in an interview given in 1955: "My painting can never be abstract, in the sense that it can never be detached from the reality of sensations nor separated from the joy and presence of things. I believe too much in the color of the sea, in front of which I work for so many months, I believe too much in the splendor of the leaves, in the warmth of human faces, I feel their weight too much, for them not to come forward, with arrogance, in my work. I think it is necessary to illuminate these presences get better and better. I strive to translate their weight more and more clearly into rhythm, their warmth into light." The work is presented in a frame.

Landscape

Oil painting on canvas. Signed lower right. Athos Faccincani's pictorial production was initially focused on social themes, in particular with attention to the world of prisoners and the marginalized. Since the 1980s, after a long period of reflection, the artist moves from the representation of human figures to that of the landscape, of the nature that Faccincani loves in its sacred totality, becoming his only model. Following a radical change in his existential and stylistic attitude, he moved on to the production of images of clear impressionist derivation, with pure and bright colours, aimed at valorising the light, the sun and the simple story, with a painting that bears witness to joy and serenity. The work is presented in a frame.

Mighty in the garden

Oil on canvas cardboard. Signed lower center. The title on the back. In his pictorial production, the painter from Lucca Antonio Possenti resembles the painting of Marc Chagall, whom he met in 1957 on the French Riviera: his works are true "fabulous tales" generated by his dreamlike vision of reality, a vision that Possenti develops through careful observation of the “human comedy”. In this work he proposes a self-portrait, placed in a fantastic garden, animated by curious and abnormal animals, depicted with very lively color choices. The work is presented in a frame.
